WALL - Jidar

Each of us has a wall that prevents him intellectually or physically from attaining his goal or what he is trying to reach. The idea was inspired from the daily suffering of Palestinians from the existence of a wall that divides their lands and obscure the opportunity to look at a horizon that has been robbed from them as their land and freedom were robbed.

Every individual in this country or land has become hostage to intellectual repression and even to visual deprivation by preventing him to look forward. . . A forward that is a hope, an ambition or an idea that is trying to achieve or reach.

Here, the heroes of this experiment, who made these scenes in a symbolic way, embody the idea of repression to the limits that the hero wants to overcome.

Human:

He is the person who suffers the bitterness of this intellectual, visual and physical limit.

WALL:

We see it in all works bordering the horizon, a deaf and cold surrounding human from each side.

Chair:

An indication of the continued migration of this human in search of the stability of his. Weary… eroded, not stable.

Raven:

the wickedness and death that are lurking around this human wherever he may be.

Dome:

is the hope and light that he always seeks to arrive.

These scenes tell the suffering of this human, his inability sometimes and his attempts to overcome thvis trapping. As I said earlier that each of us has a wall to overcome, these acts came to reflect this man›s rebellion against the reality imposed on him, looking for a better tomorrow without barriers. . .

NO WALL!
